Why Choose a Heat Pump?

Heat pumps are a versatile and eco-friendly solution for maintaining the perfect temperature in your home. By transferring heat rather than generating it, they provide efficient heating in winter and cooling in summer. Plus, their energy efficiency can significantly lower your utility bills. Unlike traditional HVAC systems, heat pumps can also reduce your carbon footprint, making them an environmentally friendly choice.

Heat pumps are ideal for homeowners looking to reduce dependency on fossil fuels while enjoying consistent indoor comfort. They’re also highly adaptable, working efficiently in moderate and extreme climates, thanks to advanced inverter technology and variable-speed compressors.

Benefits of Professional Heat Pump Installation:

Energy Efficiency

Heat pumps transfer heat rather than generate it, making them more energy-efficient than traditional heating and cooling systems.

Heat pumps provide heating and cooling, eliminating the need for separate systems.

By using less energy, heat pumps can significantly reduce your monthly heating and cooling costs.

Heat pumps produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions, especially when paired with renewable energy sources.

Modern heat pumps are designed for minimal noise, providing a comfortable home environment without disruptions.

Reviews From Our Customers

I’m always hesitant with calling repair companies because you never know what your going to get. My air would not cool the house below 78 and it was a Saturday. I happened to see someone else ask for AC repair companies on a local FB community page and I grabbed the number for Peter with Elite Degrees. He answered and was prompt to tell me to text him my info and he would come out on Monday. He was right on his word, he showed up on that Monday and looked at the furnace and AC. It was the Motor blower on my 29 year old furnace. Peter was honest. My furnace gave its full life and he offered to replace the blower motor but asked if I gave thought into a new furnace, which I had. Peter measured the space. Came back with a new quote that was around what I estimated. Since it was in the 90’s and sweltering in the house, he was able to get the furnace installed 2 days later. He even came late and stayed till 1am to make sure we at least had air running. Chris, Peter’s associate, showed up to finish the install. It looks great and I can honestly say, I have not felt this much air in the house ever. I really needed that new furnace. Peter and Chris, exceeded my expectations. They were kind, courteous, accommodating. I can’t say enough. You can’t go wrong with this company. I plan on holding on to them for when I need my AC replaced.
Peter and Chris did an excellent job on our furnace and air conditioner replacement. Peter took the time to do a full measurement of our space and offer a few options that best met our needs and budget. They were professional during installation and took the proper time to make sure everything was done right. I would recommend anyone seeking HVAC service or install reach out to Elite Degrees Heating and Cooling.
Very professional company! I called on a Saturday Peter was willing to come same day; however; my husband wanted to be home. Peter was understanding and offered to come Sunday 8am. Peter was on time and quickly resolved the problem with my AC and at a reasonable price! Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!!
Peter worked quickly and effectively to get our AC unit working again. He took the time to answer our questions and was very politely and friendly. We are planning to use this business for all our HVAC needs going forward. Highly recommend.
Chris and Peter did a great job! They replaced a leaking 75-gallon water heater the same day. Very professional and courteous. Highly recommended!

Our FAQ

How does a heat pump work?

A heat pump works by transferring heat from one location to another.

  • In heating mode, it extracts heat from the outdoor air (even in cold weather) and brings it indoors.
  • In cooling mode, it reverses the process, removing heat from your home and releasing it outside.

This process is powered by electricity, making it more efficient than systems that rely on burning fuel.

Is a heat pump effective in cold climates?

Yes, heat pumps are effective in cold climates, especially newer models designed for extreme temperatures.

  • Cold-climate heat pumps can extract heat from the air even when outdoor temperatures are as low as -15°F to -20°F.
  • Some systems include a backup heating element to provide warmth during the coldest days.

Our team can recommend the best heat pump model for your local climate and heating needs

Can I replace my current heating or cooling system with a heat pump?

Yes, heat pumps are versatile and can replace most existing heating or cooling systems, including:

  • Furnaces: Heat pumps can serve as a standalone heating source or work alongside your existing furnace.
  • Air Conditioners: Heat pumps provide cooling and heating, allowing you to eliminate your old AC unit.

Our technicians will assess your current setup and ensure a smooth transition.

How long does it take to install a heat pump?

The installation time for a heat pump typically ranges from one to three days, depending on:

  • The complexity of your home’s layout.
  • Whether additional components, such as ductwork or electrical upgrades, are needed.

We’ll provide a detailed timeline during the consultation and keep you informed throughout the process.

Will a heat pump save me money on energy bills?

Yes, heat pumps are designed to be energy-efficient, which can lead to significant savings:

  • Heat pumps use less electricity compared to traditional electric heating systems.
  • Their efficiency in transferring heat rather than generating it means lower operational costs.
  • Zoning options allow you to heat or cool only the areas you’re using, reducing energy waste.

Our technicians can help you estimate potential savings based on your home and energy usage.
