Why Replace Your Air Conditioning System?

Replacing your old air conditioner offers numerous advantages that can improve your comfort and save you money:

Increased Efficiency:

Newer air conditioners are designed with advanced technology that significantly reduces energy consumption, helping to lower your monthly utility bills.

Improved Comfort: Modern systems provide better airflow and precise temperature control, ensuring your home stays cool and comfortable, even during the hottest days.

A new system will require less maintenance and fewer repairs, giving you peace of mind and saving money on future service calls.

Newer systems have improved filtration and humidity control, creating a healthier indoor environment by reducing allergens and contaminants.

Although the upfront cost of a new AC unit can be higher, the long-term savings from lower energy bills and fewer repairs often make it a cost-effective choice.

Reviews From Our Customers

I contacted Condor Heating through Thumbtack, and they sent a technician the same day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and provided a thorough inspection of my heater. He gave me valuable feedback on whether to replace the gas valve or consider a new heater since mine is from 2009. They also provided a detailed quote and explanation via email. I really appreciated how they worked with me, explained my options clearly, and even waived the service call fee. I usually rely on the number of reviews when deciding who to call, but after working with Condor Heating, I’ve changed my perspective. Their service was excellent—highly recommend!
I’m a landlord. I’ve had many furnace inspections over the years for rental license renewals and I can say that Peter and Chris conducted the most thorough furnace inspections with the newest equipment that I’ve ever had done. My tenants and I can rest at night, knowing that they are safe from carbon monoxide. They showed up on time they were efficient and they were thorough. I use them for my business and I will also use them for my personal residence. Thanks again Elite Degrees!! Dave
Early on a cold morning, our furnace stopped working that supplies heat to our first floor and finished basement. I called them at 7:15AM and Peter took my call and dispatched Brandon to our house. Brandon was excellent! He was polite, respectful, and thorough. He had our Bryant Plus 90 up and running in no time after installing a new inducer and pressure switch. I highly recommend Condor Heating & Cooling!

Peter and Chris did an amazing job! We called for a routine maintenance check. Condor walked us through what they were looking at step by step. The guys were knowledgeable, professional, and nice. I have a go-to company for all of our heating and cooling needs. Call them, you won't be sorry!

Our FAQ

How do I know when it’s time to replace my air conditioner?

Several factors can indicate that it’s time to replace your air conditioning unit, rather than continue with repairs or maintenance:

  • Age: Air conditioners typically last between 10 and 15 years. If your unit is approaching or exceeding this lifespan, it’s likely to become less efficient and more prone to breakdowns, even with regular servicing.
  • Frequent Repairs: If you call for repairs multiple times a year, the costs can add up. It may be more cost-effective to invest in a new, reliable unit.
  • Decreased Efficiency: An aging air conditioner may struggle to cool your home effectively, leading to inconsistent temperatures and discomfort. This can also result in the unit running for longer periods, driving up your energy bills.
  • Inconsistent Cooling: If some rooms in your home are noticeably warmer or cooler than others, this could indicate that your air conditioner is no longer able to distribute cool air evenly.
  • Unusual Noises: If your air conditioner is making strange noises, such as grinding, banging, or squealing, this could indicate a serious problem that requires immediate attention.
  • Refrigerant Leaks: Refrigerant leaks can cause significant damage to your air conditioner and the environment. If you suspect a leak, it’s important to have it repaired or replaced by a qualified technician.
What size air conditioner do I need for my home?

The right size AC unit depends on several factors, including the size of your home, the layout, insulation, and local climate. Our technicians will evaluate your home and recommend an appropriately sized air conditioning unit to ensure efficient cooling without wasting energy.

How long does the air conditioning installation process take?

Typically, air conditioning installations take a few hours to a full day, depending on the complexity of the job and the type of system being installed. Our team will provide you with a clear timeline and keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring minimal disruption to your daily routine.

Can I install a new AC unit in an existing system’s place?

Yes, in many cases, we can replace your old air conditioner with a new system that fits into the same space. However, adjustments may be needed based on the new unit’s specifications and energy efficiency. Our technicians will ensure a seamless transition and that your new system is properly installed.

Will my new AC unit be more energy-efficient?

New air conditioning units are much better at saving energy than older ones. They have special features that allow them to cool your home more efficiently. For example, they can change how much cool air they send out. This means they use less energy and help keep your home at a comfortable temperature. Some units even have smart controls that learn when you’re home or away, so they can save energy when you don’t need as much cooling.

These new units also use coolants that are safer for the environment, which helps reduce pollution. Plus, they are built better to keep the cool air inside your home and prevent any leaks. Overall, getting a new air conditioner can save you money on your electric bill, keep your home more comfortable, and be better for our planet.
