I highly recommend Peter and his team at Elite Degrees Cooling for any heating and cooling needs in the tri-county area. I am a senior homeowner who purchased a new furnace in 2022 through an Oakland County–sponsored program. Unfortunately, the furnace has been a nightmare from the start, breaking down repeatedly year after year. On January 20, 2026, during 20-degree weather, the furnace failed for the fifth time this year, leaving me without heat for 13 days. The original contractor and subcontractor did not respond. I contacted Condor directly and received a call back from Peter at Elite Degrees Cooling. He was blindsided by the situation but stepped in immediately and went above and beyond to help. Peter made two service visits, accurately diagnosed the issue, and replaced both the motherboard and the motor (for the fourth time). Peter was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything and treated me with dignity during a very stressful situation. I came home from church on a Sunday to find a cool house and realized my furnace wasn’t working. I called Elite Degree and Peter came over within a few hours and was able to get me going temporarily and explained the problem and costs involved. I made a decision to replace the furnace and the crew came out Monday to start the replacement process. Peter did great at trying to schedule around my work schedule due to a very important week at work that I couldn’t miss. He truly went out of his way to explain the options and accommodate my availability and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needed HVAC work.

I woke up to a 40 degree house end of January. Furnace fan would run for a couple minutes with no heat then shut off. I called Elite Degrees and Peter was here within the hour. It took him all of 30 seconds to diagnose the problem as a seized inducer. It took less than 30 minutes to remove the assembly and lubricate it as a stop-gap while I wait for the replacement to arrive. It's a few days later now and still working. Price was totally reasonable, actually a little lower than I expected. Overall turned what I thought was a going to be a disaster into a minor inconvenience. Peter is very knowledgable, professional, polite, and understanding. It's always a pleasure working with people like this!
