Peter was an absolute lifesaver. My A/C decided it had officially had enough around midnight during one of the hottest days of the year, with a heat advisory and temperatures reaching around 115° with the heat index. By the next morning, parts of my house had climbed into the 90-95° range, so I was incredibly relieved when a colleague recommended Peter. He was able to fit me in the very same day and gave me a 4:00-7:00 PM arrival window. Around 2:00 PM, he even called to touch base, gather a little more information about what was happening, and let me know we were still on schedule. That level of communication alone was greatly appreciated. Peter arrived around 5:30 PM and was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. I showed him how the outdoor unit would fail to start when I flipped the breaker back on, ending with a large spark from the lower portion of the unit. Rather than simply replacing parts, he took the time to explain exactly what he found, showed me the failed component, and walked me through his diagnosis so I understood what had happened. Before performing any work, he clearly explained the cost of both the replacement blower motor and the installation. Fortunately, he already had the correct blower motor stocked in his truck, which meant there was no waiting on parts. Within about an hour to an hour and a half, everything was repaired and my vents were blowing cold air again. It’s hard to overstate how grateful I was. During a brutal heat wave, same-day service like this is worth its weight in gold. Peter’s professionalism, honesty, communication, and efficiency made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. I highly recommend Peter and his team at Elite Degrees Cooling for any heating and cooling needs in the tri-county area. I am a senior homeowner who purchased a new furnace in 2022 through an Oakland County–sponsored program. Unfortunately, the furnace has been a nightmare from the start, breaking down repeatedly year after year. On January 20, 2026, during 20-degree weather, the furnace failed for the fifth time this year, leaving me without heat for 13 days. The original contractor and subcontractor did not respond. I’m super impressed with this company despite not having any work completed at my home yet. My friend’s AC stopped working the other day when it was blazing hot outside. She called a different company and was told she would hear back from them the next day. Per my friend’s medical situation, it was important to get this fixed ASAP. I did some research online and came across this company and its impressive reviews. I called and talked to Peter and explained the situation. He agreed to extend his work day, which I can only imagine had been extra long already, to go to my friend’s house right away.
